Three Congregations Unite to Share Thanksgiving in Paterson
On Saturday, November 18th, members of St. Mark’s joined folks from Christ Church: Teaneck at St. Paul’s: Paterson where members of all three congregations served up a Thanksgiving dinner for over 400 members of that city. Some people made food at home to be shared, others attended the event to serve meals, and some did both!
“It was truly a gift and a joy for us to be a part of this tradition and to work and serve together with the faithful saints of Christ Church and St. Paul’s and to meet the guests who came for a delicious home-cooked dinner,” said the Rev. Joan Conley, our Rector. “Each of us serving on Saturday also had a chance to sit down and eat, so I can attest to just how delicious everything was! Thank you!”
