St. Mark’s Withdraws from Independence Day Parade due to Heat

Dear People of St. Mark’s,

Out of an abundance of caution related to the extreme heat, as leaders of St. Mark’s we cannot support asking members of our congregation to put themselves at risk and we are hereby withdrawing from participating in the Teaneck Independence​ Day Parade scheduled for Friday, July 3rd.

We hope that everyone is able to stay safe and well in this extreme weather.

May we all be alert and helpful to those who are at risk in this heat and all who must work outside.
