St. Mark’s Wears Orange to End Gun Violence

St. Mark’s Wears Orange to End Gun Violence

We traditionally wear red on the Feast of Pentecost (coming up this Sunday), but until then, St. Mark’s will #WearOrange as part of National Gun Violence Awareness Day. Sponsored by Every Town for Gun Safety, the campaign, which takes place June 3-5 this year, provides ideas and resources for community involvement.

Every Sunday at our service, St. Mark’ prays for the more than 110 individuals who are killed with guns across the country in the average week. Today we #WearOrange and urge everyone to get involved in the effort to end the senseless violence.
