Blessing of the Animals
Pets, service animals, beloved stufflings and photos are all invited to receive prayer
On Sunday, October 6th at 4 p.m., we will once again gather to bless the furry and creatures that enrich our lives. Please gather in Fr. Jim’s Garden (weather permitting) or on the porch.
This tradition is born out of proximity to the Feast of St. Francis of Assisi, observed on October 4th. Besides founding what became the Franciscan order, he is widely regarded as a friend to all living things, particularly animals.
For everyone’s safety all recipients must be on a leash or in a carrier.
