Deacon-to-Be Jackie McLeod Heads to Bloomfield/Glen Ridge

On Sunday, March 12, St. Mark’s bid a fond farewell-for-now to longtime parishioner Jacqueline McLeod as she begins an assignment at Christ Church, Bloomfield/Glen Ridge in the next step on the road towards ordination as a permanent deacon. Jackie, who has undergone about three years of formal training including a stint of clinical pastoral education at Pascack Valley Hospital, was presented with a gift and a blessing by our Rector, the Rev. Joan Conley as well as the Rev’s. James Warnke and Michael Gerhardt.
