“What Would Martin Do?”
Martin Luther King Scholarship Luncheon
St. Mark’s is pleased to revive an important tradition in support of our young leaders. We will once again present the Martin Luther King scholarship luncheon and presentation on January 19th at 11:30 a.m.
This year, our youth will present “Letters from a Birmingham Jail” directed by Dr. Ardie Walser, an area educator and leader of our resident tutoring program, Math Adventures and Word Play.
We will also have a “fireside chat” with Randall Pinkston, former correspondent with CBS News and Al Jazeera America.
Guests will enjoy a southern luncheon prepared by Two Fish, Five Loaves.
Admission is $30 for adults and $10 for school-age children. Pre-school children may attend at no cost. All proceeds support our MLK Scholarship Fund which is awarded to high school graduates who actively participate in the life of the church and community.
Tickets may be purchased at the church on January 5th and 12th or by clicking the links below.
