Holy Communion
Holy Communion
Our principal service at 10:00 will be Holy Communion with sermon.
Today we observe the Seventh Sunday after the feast of Pentecost. The Rev. Joan F. Conley, our Rector, will celebrate the Eucharist and preach.
Our music this morning will be enhanced by a visit by harpist FRANCES DUFFY. Ms. Duffy is Principal Harp of the Wheeling and Allentown Symphony Orchestras, the Hudson Valley Philharmonic and performs regularly with the American Ballet Theatre in Lincoln Center. She has been the harpist for the Broadway show Wicked. She has also performed with the New York Philharmonic, Baltimore, Pittsburgh, New Jersey, Albany and Hartford Symphony orchestras. This year she was elected to the American Harp Society Foundation Board of Directors and recently received a doctorate at Rutgers Mason School of the Arts.
You are welcome in our barrier-free sanctuary or to join on Zoom from the comfort of home (https://bit.ly/stmarksunday). St. Mark’s has been “Celebrating God’s Inclusive Love” since 1925. We meet at the intersection of an ancient faith and modern thought, and invite seekers, questioners and doubters of any religious background (or none).
